Project info

V4 Student Esports Tournament 2025 is a project connecting students and teachers from countries of Visegrad Group to create healthy enviroment for esports players and to promote teamwork and strategic thinking.

V4 SET will provide the students with opportunity to show their skills in esports in League of Legends tournament and also creates a platform for students and teachers alike to educate themselves in important topics of the digital and esport world. 

The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

The project connects students and schools from the countries of Visegrad Group - Slovakia, Czechia, Poland and Hungary. In spring 2025 all countries will organize their own qualification tournaments, which will determine the finalists, who will represent their homeland during the last stage of the competition.

V4 Student Esports Tournament grandfinals will take place from 11th to 12th October 2025 in Nitra, Slovakia as a part of Slovak National Esport Championship. 4 teams will compete for the win in League of Legends tournament. Any student in high school can sign up and with his/her team represent their country. 

Along the esport competition, educational panel will also take place in Nitra. During the panel students and teacher will discuss essential topics like: esports as a viable career path, addressing and preventing cyberbullying within gaming communities, promoting physical and mental health for gamers.

V4 Educational Panel Guest - Jiří Adámek (CZ)

Jiří "dissent" Adámek is the CEO and Founder of Insight Base s.r.o., a company focused on developing modern mobile and web applications. A former Counter-Strike 1.6 semi-professional player in the Czech and Slovak scene, Jiří has been deeply connected to esports for many years. Today, he represents QD Lan (Quietus Day) — the largest community LAN party in the Czech Republic — where he serves as one of the main organizers. Together with his long-time friend and QD Lan’s founder, Petr "latis" Látal, he continues to give back to the gaming community that shaped their early years. Their shared mission is to create a welcoming and competitive environment where players from across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and beyond can connect, compete, and relive the spirit of grassroots esports. QD Lan will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027, marking two decades of community-driven gaming events built on friendship, passion, and fair play.

V4 Educational Panel Guest - Marcin Pałys (PL)

A research-and-teaching faculty member at the Department of Economic Informatics at the University of Economics in Katowice. He combines academic achievements with implementation practice: he is a co-creator of Manufaktura Gier Szkoleniowych and has been active for years in the Polish Esports Association as a content creator and host of conferences and online trainings. He has business experience as a business tech specialist. Author of publications and a speaker at international conferences, including KES (Verona) and the International Conference on Economics, Business, Tourism & Social Sciences (Singapore). An experienced trainer—he designs and delivers development programs using the design thinking methodology, aligning the user perspective with business objectives. An avid StarCraft II player.

V4 Educational Panel Guest - Karol Cagáň (SK)

Mgr. Karol Cagáň serves as the president of the Slovak Electronic Sports Association, as well as a member of the board of directors of the European Esports Federation and an honorary member of the board of directors of the International Esports Federation. In the esports industry, Karol is a co-founder of the largest esports agency in Slovakia, Yvents s.r.o., which has been operating on the market since 2016. In addition to his extensive domestic and international activities in the field of esports, he is dedicated to education and the development of critical thinking, where he works as a lecturer in the educational program for the non-profit organization Nexteria. In connection with critical thinking and the theory of human decision-making, he is also actively engaged in consulting in the field of communication on the Internet and social media within campaigns focused on activism of various kinds for both the private and public sectors.

Jakab Attila is the President of Delta Fire Esport Association, founder of Delta Syndicate Kft., and Managing Director of Delta 1 Esports Cafe. He has played League of Legends since 2010; in 2017 he joined the Lenovo Legion Honvéd Esport Academy first as a player, reaching EUW Diamond 2 at a time when Diamond had five divisions before Challenger. After winning several smaller tournaments, the birth of his son in 2018 led him to transition into coaching. His teams went on to win the Hungarian National Esport Championship multiple times—first with him as coach, later as team manager. In 2022 he founded Delta Syndicate, a Hungarian esports startup, and in the same year became manager of the Norwegian Domino Gaming LoL team competing in the NLC. He has logged over 20,000 hours in League of Legends, at least 10,000 of them on his favorite champion, Brand. Beyond competitive results, he builds systems: Delta Syndicate runs the online platform that still powers the Lenovo Legion Honvéd Esport Academy, launched the Delta Shield legal-protection subscription for players, and in 2024 opened Delta 1 Esports Cafe in Budapest as a multi-pillar business and community hub. In 2025 he co-founded Delta Fire S.E., an esports-only sports association with rosters in LoL, CS2, TFT, and Rainbow Six.

V4 Grandfinals Casters | Jakub "Goksi" Goga

Former semi-professional player, individual coach and current commentator working in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He started his competitive career in 2019, paradoxically outside our borders, in the first Portuguese league. He gradually played in various countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Baltics or Greece, to finally return home to the II. league CZ/SK while studying at university. His greatest achievements include third place in the I. Belgian league, victory in the II. CZ/SK league and championship in the II. Greek league. In the game League of Legends, he reached the highest division – Challenger on the EUW server. For the past year, he has been commentating on domestic and foreign tournaments such as YGames, Hitpoint Masters, LEC or EMEA Masters, with his goal being to constantly improve and bring the best possible experience to fans.

V4 Grandfinals Casters | Dominik "Murde" Dvořák

He started commentating in 2020-2021, when he worked mainly in amateur leagues, qualifiers for the second and third Hitpoint leagues, and university tournaments. Later, he began to work closely with Hitpoint, where he primarily commented on the LEC and EMEA Masters, including the final matches. After a longer break, he returned to the scene earlier this year during MSI, which he completely commented on except for the final. He subsequently helped with domestic leagues, commented on the semi-finals and finals of the Hitpoint Masters, as well as the final of the LEC itself. He is currently actively participating in the EMEA Masters and would like to be inspired to be part of the commentating of the World Championship. As a player, he has experience mainly from the amateur scene, in soloQ he reached the rank of Master with 116 LP and in flexQ Grandmaster with approximately 500 LP.

V4 Grandfinals Casters | Lukáš "Hany" Hanáček

He has been playing League of Legends since its inception, when it evolved from the old map Defend of the Ancients. Gaming became a passion for him, which grew into a lifestyle. After many attempts at competitive play, he realized that being a player was not his path, but he found a great love in commentary. He started his career on the amateur scene, progressing to commentating on university tournaments and the III. highest domestic league. Subsequently, he also reached offline events and the Worlds 2024 finals. He always enjoys every moment of this adventure and tries to convey his strong emotions and passion for the game to the audience.
